Text messaging and opt-in
AutoMod Ventures Shop Appointment Texts: how customers choose to receive texts, what they receive and how to stop.
AutoMod Ventures LLC sends text messages on behalf of the independent auto detailing and auto styling shops it works with. Every message names the shop the customer contacted, and a customer only receives texts after opting in to that shop in one of the three ways below.
How customers opt in
1. The shop's quote request form, with an optional consent checkbox
A customer requests a quote on the shop's own website form or on a Facebook or Instagram lead form run for the shop. The form includes the checkbox below. It is unchecked by default and not required: the form submits without it, and a customer who leaves it unchecked gets no texts from this program.
The checkbox text names the shop, where (shop name) appears below:

2. The customer texts the shop first
A customer who texts a shop's number gets replies in that same conversation.
3. The customer books an appointment
A customer who books an appointment and gives their mobile number for it receives the confirmation, reminders and deposit link for that appointment.
What customers receive
- Replies to their quote request and questions
- Appointment confirmations, and reminders 5 days, 24 hours and 1 hour before the appointment
- Reschedule and cancellation notices
- Deposit payment links for a booked appointment
- Follow-ups on an open quote request
No purchased, rented or scraped lists are ever texted, and no bulk promotional blasts are sent.
