This policy explains how AutoMod Ventures LLC ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when we run text messaging and appointment booking for our partner auto shops, and when you use this website.

Text messaging and your mobile information

We use your mobile number only to send the texts you opted in to for the shop you contacted. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and reply HELP for help.

Information we collect

• What you give us on a quote request or contact form: your name, mobile phone number, email address, vehicle, the service you asked about and any message you write, and whether you ticked the text messaging consent box, with the time you did.
• Appointment details: the date, time, service, location and any deposit.
• The content of text messages you exchange with the shop, and your opt-in and opt-out choices.
• Basic technical information when you visit this website, such as your IP address, browser type and the page that referred you.

How we use your information

• To reply to your quote request and questions on behalf of the shop you contacted.
• To book, confirm, remind you about, reschedule or cancel your appointment.
• To send the deposit payment link for an appointment you booked.
• To follow up on a quote request you started.
• To keep records of your consent and opt-out choices, and to keep our services secure.

We do not sell your personal information.

How we share information

We share your information with the partner shop you contacted so it can provide your quote and service, and with service providers that help us operate, such as our messaging, hosting and payment providers, only as needed to provide the service and under confidentiality obligations. None of this sharing includes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, which is not shared with any third parties. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Payments

Deposit payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full card number.

Data retention

We keep quote requests, appointment records and message history for as long as the shop you contacted uses our service and as needed to meet legal and record-keeping obligations, and consent and opt-out records for at least as long as we might text your number. Website server logs are kept for up to 30 days. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, as described below.

Security

We protect your information with reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information by emailing contact@automodventures.com. We respond within 30 days.

Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy and will post the new version on this page with a new date.
